At Cassandra's, a porcelain doll shop, each piece is made separately, treated and painted meticulously and carefully. Students begin with green-ware, the raw form of porcelain, and must clean seam lines, open eyeholes and make sure the limbs fit prior to firing and assembling. They can they customize every detail of their dolls, from the eye and hair color to apparel.
